Rail Photography by Will Faichney
6th Mar - 37059 and 37259 top and tail the 1Q61 Cambridge to Derby RTC test train at Ipswich. They were supposed to leave at 17:12 but it is around 18:15 when the photo was taken. I think it failed in the end due a a problem with part of the consist. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Hi mate, 37059 failed to get the brakes released on the loco! I was the driver on this unfortunately! Seen u about that night... Anyways I'm told there is another one of these trains operating on Monday 15th leaving Ipswich at 1350 operating to Harwich International & return to here and back to Derby from here.... I should be on it! All the best

16th Apr - 3 days after being released from Crewe IEMD for a G exam, 90005 'Vice Admiral Lord Nelson' pushes the 14:30 ex Liverpool Street onwards to Norwich, I was a little disappointed as I didn't have the chance to get a full sun shot, so I stuck with this...

Wow nice shot will :)

24th Apr - Not one of my best, but a fantastic sight of a nose end Class 20 passing Postwick, this being 20305 working the late running 1Z21 which was diverted via Reedham instead of the booked route via Acle.

You've taken that way too early. Try taking it a bit later and then refrain from waving your hands in the air and knackering the shot of the person behind you LOL!!!

Cheers for the advice but I intended to include the tree's and scenery around the train. I also had mates who were waving at me out the train so naturally I waved back...

Try not standing right behind people, and try saying thank you that you even managed to see it. If you really want to make a deal of this my email address is jenkins.tom37510@yahoo.co.uk, I look foward to hearing from you.

Yes - Mr Faichney & Co certainly did ruin someone else's shot: http://www.flickr.com/photos/41125010@N03/4558695288/ (Not my shot, but I can see why he's annoyed). Mr Jenkins - Stop trying to blame other people for your own errors. "Try not standing right behind people and try saying thank you that you even managed to see it" - Would you rather they stood in FRONT of you then? No, didn't think so...

Well done Will, great photo. Don't listen to these no-marks crying about a 'ruined' photograph! Me thinks that 'Harold', 'Tom' and 'James Aldridge' need to get laid... lol
