Welcome to my photos of trains from around the Anglia area of the United Kingdom. To find out a little about me, go to the 'About me' section below this minbox. I am not the best photgrapher to grace the Earth but I try my best to capture the Railways of Britain as they are today.

The equipment that I currently use for taking my pictures is a Fujifilm Finepix A800 with 10 megapixels, this is also used for videoing but in September I will have a camcorder. Not sure which one but if you have any good ideas, contact me on youtube (the link is on my links minibox).

None of the photos that I take are taken in positions where I am considered trespassing on any part of the railway. I do not believe in trespassing either as it is an offence.

About Me

Hi and welcome to my website, 66541 fotopic. I am a 15 year old train enthusiast from Trimley near Felixstowe in Suffolk. This is a new an inproved version of my old fotopic, mappman1000.

I am mainly located on the Felixstowe Branch Line and the Northern Section of the Great Eastern Main Line (North of Colchester). However, I do venture off into other places too. My local station is Trimley which has its fair share of action with class 66's from Freightliner, GBRF and DB Schenker. National Express East Anglia also run a local service between Ipswich and Felixstowe operated with a Class 153, Class 156 or sometimes even a Class 170. At Ipswich, where I photograph alot more, there are Class 90's, Class 86's, Class 66's, Class 47's and more units. Planned trips are in the planned trips of this site further down the page.

They were supposed to leave at 17:12 but it is around 18:15 when the photo was taken. I think it failed in the end due a a problem with part of the consist. 	1st Jan 2010 to 30th Jan 2010	January 2010 A few shots from January 2010 which includes a few jaunts around the Anglia area. Places include Ipswich, Stowamarket and Colchester.
	1st Dec 2009 to 31st Dec 2009	December 2009 A few shots from December 2009. This was a great month which saw the arrival of the Class 70's in Anglia, some A4 action plus a southern stranger to the Eastern metals.
	1st Nov 2009 to 30th Nov 2009	November 2009 Some shots from November 2009. Not such a busy month for me this time over. A couple of shots ok Freight skoda's and Heritage shunters.
	1st Oct 2009 to 31st Oct 2009	October 2009 Some shots from October 2009. This month saw the RHTT season come upon us with action from DRS which included Class 20's, 37's, 57's and 66's. Also included is a royal skip, the last of GNER and some hire in's.
	1st Sep 2009 to 30th Sep 2009	September 2009 Some shots from September 2009. Yet another great month. Includes action from the MNR autumn disel gala, The Harwich Hook railtour, some tug action in Anglia, sizewell 37's and yet more colourful skoda's.
	1st Aug 2009 to 31st Aug 2009	August 2009 A few shots from August 2009. A very busy month indeed for me. Included a trip to London where I saw two new units in the form of the Class 378's and 395's, along with a few old faces which are the ever diminishing Class 60 and the still strong HST. Also the Sizewell Flask trains started to make a comeback.
	1st Jul 2009 to 31st Jul 2009	July 2009 A few shots from July 2009. The beginning of the summer holidays is here. A few trips out and about towards the end of the month. Includes Valenta HST's, duff's on drags, colourful skoda's, 37's on test trains and the eurocheese.
	1st Jun 2009 to 30th Jun 2009	June 2009 A few shots from June 2009. Not a very busy month due to GCSE exams. But a few nice shots of the much familiar GM's that roam the United Kingdom these days.
	1st May 2009 to 31st May 2009	May 2009 A few shots from May 2009. Inlcuded are a few jaunts around the Anglia region, a ride on the 'Yarmouth Summer Drags' and the end of the road for Ipswich's 47370.
