Welcome to my photo collection. My name is Will Faichney and this is my site where I host some of my photo's. I have had a vague interest in trains and railways all my live but have focused on it since early 2008. My home patch is in the East of England, so naturally the majority of the photo's are from this region. However, there are a few jaunts away from home turf. Photo's are assorted into monthly collections and are updated basically, whenever photo's are taken. So expect photo's a couple of days after an outing.
I have recently moved away from videography and now focus on photography. As it seems much more attractive to me. However, I still make video's from my outings and my youtube page can be found in the links section on this page where a collection of nearly 300 video's dating back to 2008 can be found. Therefore, I am not the greatest photographer to grace the earth. But I try my best to produce decent photo's, and am improving with every day that goes by.
I have recently upgraded from a compact digital camera to a Fujifilm S1500 digital camera, which has 10 megapixels and a 12x optical zoom. I also process and edit images through Picasa 3, which is avaliable to download from google for free. Some of my older images, which are from 22nd April backwards, are taken using the old compact camera.
I try to record today's railway scene. Whilst many people moan how ''its all sheds'' and ''units bore'' me. Well, those people are missing alot. With many variaties of diesel, electric and also steam traction roaming around. These include vintage relics of the nationalised British Railways era still going strong.

21st Dec - First Great Eastern livered 321337 stops at Ipswich with an express to London, usually this would be worked by a Class 90 with 9 Mark 3 coaches, or sometimes an 8 car 321. But this time just a single 321 EMU was rostered for the diagram | December 2009 | (80) |

Included a trip to London where I saw two new units in the form of the Class 378's and 395's, along with a few old faces which are the ever diminishing Class 60 and the still strong HST. Also the Sizewell Flask trains started to make a comeback.
